Your topic needs to have the question that you are attempting to answer. I have included some web sites that could be useful when choosing a topic.
You need to get approval from your science teacher on or prior to the due date before starting your project. All projects should be experiments that follow the scientific method. This means they cannot be demonstrations that show how something works and they cannot be surveys. You need to be conducting a test in order to answer your question. Remember, this is a major part of your grade!

Reminders:
  • All work will be presented on a tri-fold board that can be purchased at school or at a store
  • All boards in grades 4-8 must have typed written work
  • All parts of the project must be included on the board (refer to the project contents link at the bottom of the page)
  • Creativity, neatness and board presentation will affect the grade
  • All students in grades 3-8 must have a log/journal book that details the events that took place with dates and the data or observations from your experiment.
